PURPOSE:To control a signal level even during recording of a PCM signal, by taking out a designated channel number in data and displaying its level and the channel number with light emitting diodes. CONSTITUTION:In the sonar signal recording time, an acoustic signal which is subjected to PCM is inputted from a VTR1 to a data separating circuit 3 and a synchronizing signal separating circuit 4. Data of the circuit 3 is inputted to a shift register 5 and is converted to parallel data in a register 6. A channel selector 7 selects channel numbers periodically on the basis of the synchronizing signal from the circuit 4; and when the selected channel number coincides with the channel designation signal of a channel designating switch 8, a gate 9 is opened to output a clock signal to the register 6. Data of the register 5 is transferred to the register by this clock signal and is converted to data having no sign in an absolute circuit 10, and the data level is displayed with an LED12 and the channel number is displayed with an LED12' by a driver 11. |
