PURPOSE:To control the input to an up/down counter, by recognizing up or down-counting and the count speed of the counter by the rotation direction and the rotation speed of knob. CONSTITUTION:When a gear 6 is rotated clockwise by a knob, the tip of the gear is brought into contact with the tip of a spring 8, and the tip of the spring 8 is moved toward a contact 10u. When the gear 6 is rotated furthermore, the tip of the spring 8 is brought into contact with the contact 10u, and an up pulse is inputted to an up/down counter 3 through a lead wire. When the gear 6 is rotated furthermore, the tip of the gear 6 is separated from the tip of the spring 8, and the tip of the spring 8 is returned to the original position. When the gear 6 is rotated counterclockwise reversely by the knob 7, the tip of the spring 8 is brought into contact with a contact 10D similarly, and a down pulse is inputted. Thus, this input device is used to input pulses to the up/down counter 3 with a rotary variable resistance. |
