The invention relates to a device for protecting pipelines with volatile media, which are under high pressure and at high temperature, with particularly constricted structural conditions. The pipe-protecting sleeve is fastened, by means of rolling or straightforward upsetting, at points of the pipeline which are at particular danger of wear. Three possible embodiments of clamping collars of the pipe-protecting sleeve are specified.
