The mounting for the mast foot of a windsurfer comprises a slide (25) which can be adjusted inside a passage (10) in the longitudinal direction of the body and can be locked in various positions. For this purpose, guide rails (16) are arranged at the top margin of the passage (10). The guide rails (16) project into the passage (10) and have recesses (20) open at the bottom in which a projection (30) engages which is provided on a spring lamella (28). The spring lamella (28) is pressed down by the foot of the user during sailing by means of an actuating member (29) until the projection (30) comes out of the recess (20). The slide (25) is provided with a self-releasing holder (34, 37) for the mast-foot joint (38). <IMAGE>
