PURPOSE:To prevent a motor from malfunctioning during the generation of a time casting tone, by preventing the time casting tone from overlapping with a signal for driving the electromechanical transducer of an analog timepiece. CONSTITUTION:The output of an oscillating circuit 1 is applied through a frequency dividing circuit 2 and a another frequency dividing circuit 3 for an analog timepiece to a motor driving circuit 4, driving a motor 5. The output of the frequency dividing circuit 2 is applied through a frequency dividing circuit 6 for a digital timepiece to a time counter group 7 to perform digital time display. A synchronizing circuit 12 makes the output of the frequency dividing circuit 3 into a clock signal to synchronize the time casting signal, outputted from the counter group 7, with the signal from driving the motor 5, thus preventing the time casting signal and motor driving circuit from overlapping each other. |
