The invention relates to a method for regulating a sorption heat pump with expeller, burner, condenser, throttle member, return member, evaporator and a consumer. The aim is to indicate a regulating device for a sorption heat pump, which, depending on the consumer heat requirement, reduces the feed of primary energy into the expeller to the aboslutely necessary minimum and at the same time ensures an adequate throughput of solvent and coolant in order to optimise the internal circuit of the heat pump. This aim is achieved according to the invention in that the pressure or temperature in the high-pressure part of the sorption heat pump is provided as regulating variable and the heat requirement of the consumer is provided as disturbance variable.
