PURPOSE:To reduce the deterioration of a picture even if fine parts of the picture flicker by using an inter-two-frame difference signal, an inter-one-frame difference narrow band signal, an inter-one-frame difference wide band signal, and a detection circuit selecting the maximum value and minimum value among the signals above mentioned in a decoder for a multiplex subsample transmission signal excluding an inter-frame folded component in a low frequency band. CONSTITUTION:The two-frame difference signal (a), the one-frame difference narrow band signal (b) and the one-frame difference wide band signal (c) are inputted to an input. Before the one-frame difference narrow band signal (b) is inputted to a maximum selection circuit 3, the signal (a) is inputted to a maximum selection circuit 2 together with a signal on a previous frame, which is corrected by a moving vector with the aid of a frame memory 1. Next, the signals (a) and (c) are inputted to the maximum selection circuit 3. By taking the maximum, the signal (a) is selected in an area in which a small object moves, while the signal (b) is selected in an area in which a large object moves. A signal outputted from the circuit 3 and the signal (c) are inputted to a minimum selection circuit 4 to output a minimum. The signal (c) is required in the area in which a small object moves. The signal (c) creates some value even if a large object moves. The circuit 4 selects the signal (c) in the area that needs it. The circuit 4 inhibits the unstable signal (a), thereby obtaining a stable moving are signal. |
