The roundabout-type sack-changer, for installation in arefuse chamber, has three holders (5) suspended in a frame (4) slewing on a base (2). Each holder accommodates a sack (6) brought in turn into position to receive sweepings etc. The holders can be raised and lowered in the frame by a control mechanism and subframe (7,8). A horizontal cam disc (20) is fixed to the base, against which a roller (21) on each subframe runs. As the main frame turns, and the holder with a full sack sinks under the weight of the contents, the next one with an empty sack rises into position to receive the refuse. |
