PURPOSE:To enable the stable use of a title sensor for a long period of time, by constituting a thermostat such that a metal rod-shaped substance is inserted into a center of a tube, and the end of the rod-shaped substance and the inner wall of the blocked end part of the tube are electrically connected with each other. CONSTITUTION:A rod-shaped substance 2, made of a high melting point metal, is inserted into a center of a tube 1 which consists of a low-resistant silumdum sintered material and has a silica glass layer self-formed on a surface thereof. Spaces between the forward end of the tube and the inner wall of the blocked part of the tube 1 and between the outer wall of the opening of the tube and an inner wall of a fixing metal 5 are filled with thin laminating materials 3 and 9 to make an electric connection with each other, and are further filled with an insulating ceramic powder 4 to perform a measurement of temperature through output of a thermostat which consists of the rod-shaped substance 2 and the tube 1. The constitution improves a response property, and permits it to be sufficiently endurable to the use at 1,500 deg.C and allows it to be stably used for a long period of time. |
