PURPOSE:To reduce the unevenness in the mass grain size classification in a storage tank by equipping stock level meters to measure the stock level of the pulverized material in stock at a dropping point of the pulverized material and a point in the direction of movement. CONSTITUTION:Stock level detectors 6 and 7 are equipped at a dropping point of pulverized material and an antecedent point in the direction of movement on a supplying device 3 movable in a storage tank 1, and the shape of the pulveriz ed material in stock is grasped on the basis of the difference of detection level between the former level detector 6 and the latter level detector 7 for starting the movement of the supplying device 3 as comparing with the shape determined by properties of the pulverized material. The antecedent level detector 7 detects the lowest point of the stock level. When the dropping point of the pulverized material is brought to that point, the supplying device 3 is stopped in its movement for reducing the unevenness in the mass grain size classification. This method permits to uniform the surface of the pulverized material in stock, and contributes to reduce the unevenness in the mass grain size classification. |
