WATER DISPERSIBLE BONE POWDER AND ITS PREPARATION

PURPOSE:To improve the hydration and dispersibility of bone fine powder as a calcium source for a calcium-enriched food. CONSTITUTION:A water dispersible bone powder comprising starch and (or) glucide, a surface active agent having a HLB of >=8, and bone fine powder having particle sizes <= all passing through 60 mesh, having a configuration of soluble solid substance wherein bone is dispersed and covered. A weight ratio of the starch and (or) glucide to the bone powder is (5:95)-(70:30), and the amount of the surface active agent is 0.2-5pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. total amount of the above-mentioned two components.
