PURPOSE:To measure the water level simply, by providing a scale ring disk on the outer surface of a water pumping pressure gage of a submerged water pump so that the disk is freely rotated, providing a water level scale and a flow rate scale, and utilizing the correlation among the water pumping amount, the water pumping pressure, and the water level. CONSTITUTION:From the performance curve of the submerged pump 1, the water pumping pressure is obtained when the water level H is zero, i.e. it agrees with a reference point, and a flow rate compensating point is determined. The water level scale 5 is provided on the scale ring disk 4, and the flow rate scale 6 is provided at the appropriate position on the other side of the water level scale 5 by using the flow rate compensating point. When the water pumping operation is started by the submerged pump 1, the scale ring disk 4 is rotated. When the water pumping flow rate at that time is e.g. 150kl/h, 150 of the flow rate scale 6 is aligned with a flow rate index 7, and the water level scale 5 is indicated by a pointer. Then the water level of 12 is measured. |
