PURPOSE:To improve operation starting property, i.e. responsive property of a control system by overlapping differential output of voltage signal corresponding to discharge gap between a machining electrode and work-piece on a control circuit for controlling the discharge gap on the basis of said voltage signal. CONSTITUTION:Difference voltage Vg between average voltage VG of pulse voltage applied to an electrode 12 and workpiece 10 and reference voltage VR is converted into series pulse signal +ZP or -ZP for controlling the displacement of the electrode through an AD converter 22, control circuit 24 and binary rate multiplier 32. A counter 34 counts the difference between the series pulse signal ZP and pulse signal ZS from a position detector 42 so that the counted value is converted into position correcting signal VZ through a DA converter 36. On the other hand, differential voltage VS of the difference voltage Vg is added to said position correcting signal VZ by an amplifier 38 so that a servo motor 14 is driven by this overlapped signals. |
