PURPOSE:A composition, prepared by incorporating a specific hydrocarbon lubricant with a composition consisting of an aromatic copolyester and a polyamide, and having improved moldability and mold releasability with retained mechanical characteristics, etc., and suitable for engineering resins. CONSTITUTION:A composition prepared by kneading (A) 100pts.wt. aromatic copolyester obtained from a mixture of terephthalic acid with isophthalic acid or a functional derivative thereof at a molar ratio between the terephthalic acid groups and the isophthalic acid groups of (9:1)-(1:9) with a bisphenol expressed by formulaI(X is O,S, SO2, CO, alkylene or alkylidene; R1- R4 and R'1-R'4 are H, halogen, OH or hydrocarbon group) and 100pts.wt. or less polyamide, expressed by formula II (R5 is alkylene), preferably polyhexamethylene adipamide, with (B) 0.05-5pts.wt. straight chain hydrocarbon having an average molecular weight of 300-10,000 as a lubricant. |
