PURPOSE:To raise the reliability of a recorder, to simplify the circuit structure of the recorder and to lower the capacity of a memory at the smallest possible level, by locating a feed roll on a recording sheet-carrying line between recording parts to correct the top position of a blank sheet. CONSTITUTION:A recording sheet 14 is overlaid to an ink-donor sheet 7A at a position near the thermal head 13A of a recording part, and let run through a space between a back roll 9A and the thermal head 13A to transfer red ink, for instance, to the recording sheet. After recorded, the recording sheet is separated from the used ink-donor sheet and let move in close to the second recording part B. The top end of the recording sheet is caught by a couple of feed rolls 17, 18 to absorb the flexion of the recording sheet and to correct the position of its top end. The recording sheet is then let arrive at a position near the thermal head 13B of the second recording part, let run through a space between a back roll 9B and the thermal head 13B under the condition that the recording sheet is overlaid to another ink-donor sheet 7B to do hot-transfer recording with a black color, separated from the ink-donor sheet 7B, and then discharged into a discharge tray. |
