PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of caking of powder of drinks for sports and/or powder of fruit juice for a long time, by adding a specific amount of dextrin to them. CONSTITUTION:15-60wt. dextrin having a DE value of 2-5 or 45-65wt% dextrin having a DE value of 6-20 is added to powder of drinks for sports and/or powder of fruit juice. When the dextrin having a DE value of 2-5 is used, the addition of <=14wt% dextrin reduces the caking preventing effect, and the addition of >=61wt% dextrin causes starchy smell or increases the viscosity. When the dextrin having a DE value of 6-20 is also used, the addition of <=44wt% dextrin reduces the caking preventing effect, and the addition of >=61wt% dextrin causes starchy smell and the problem of increase in viscosity. |
