This invention presents an electronic circuit to control the speed of engine. This can be achieved by controlling the energy flow of engine. The circuit detects the speed of engine by the shaft pick up, and compares it with the reference level in order to operate the trip relay for controlling trip valve which stops the flow of energy. This circuit also includes the protect circuit which prevents the error action of circuit when the shaft pick up is out of order.
