<p>A vane axial fan assembly includes a housing defining a chamber to receive a fluid discharged from the blades of the vane axial fan. The housing includes a substantially spiral shaped scroll portion defining a chamber of substantially constantly increasing radius and having a substantially spiral shaped baffle member mounted within said chamber and combining to define therewith a simultaneously radially and axially expanding fluid flow passage for receiving the fluid discharged from the blades of the fan.</p> |
