PURPOSE: A micro-fuse is provided to prevent a printed circuit board installed in a variety of electronic apparatus from being damaged by cutting-off an excessive current flow in the printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION: A micro-fuse includes a molded body made of a thermal-resistance and insulating material. Formed on the molded body is an insulating layer on which a fusing layer is deposited. Terminals are disposed penetrating through the molded body, the insulating layer, and the fusing layer, then attached on the fusing layer. A cap is fitted around the molded body. The fusing layer is formed by depositing a fusing material on the insulating layer and being etched in a predetermined pattern and thickness. A magnifying glass is provided on a top of the cap 16 opposing the fusing layer 13 so that a user can identify a state of the fusing layer.
