PURPOSE:To ensure to introduce the discharged smoke into a ventilating fan and improve the smoke discharging effect of the fan by a method wherein the smoke collecting hood is provided pivotably above the generating source of the smoke of a gas table or the like to collect the generating smoke and, thereafter, the smoke is guided into the ventilating fan. CONSTITUTION:An adaptor 5 is secured to the wall body of a kitchen provided with the gas table and the hood 2, expanding to the downward and opened in the up-and-down direction thereof, is attached to the adaptor 5 through a hinge 6 so as to be pivotable into the up-and-down direction and stopped at an optional position. The smoke, generated in a cooking from the gas table is arrested by the hood 2 and is collected to the central part thereof and the collected smoke is ascended as it is toward the ventilating fan 9. Then, it is discharged to the outside by the rotation of the ventilating fan 9. When a pan or pot is put on the gas table, the hood 2 is lifted up with a handle 3 to prevent the hood 2 from bothering the disposing of the pot or the like. |
