PURPOSE:To equalize a lower band wave characteristic and a color characteristic of an FM luminance signal in case of reproducing, by switching a recording equalizer and a recording current value in accordance with a kind of a tape whose reproducing frequency characteristic is different. CONSTITUTION:An FM luminance signal (d) and a color signal (e) are added by a mixing circuit 8 through a level regulator 14 and a level regulator 15, respectively, and after that, are applied to the first recording equalizer 16. The first recording equalizer executes constant equalization irrespective of a kind of a tape. To the first equalizing circuit, a recording amplifier 10 and a recording head 11 are connected through the first path consisting of the second equalizer 17, a level adjusting amplifier 18 and a gate 19, and the second path consisting of only a gate 20. The second equalizer corrects a difference of an FM lower band wave characteristic and a color characteristic due to a difference of a kind of a tape, and the level adjusting amplifier corrects a level difference of those reproducing outputs. |
