PURPOSE:To improve safety, by a method wherein an exhaust fan is driven when an output of an incomplete combustion detecting sensor which detects CO exceeds a fixed value, and a fuel supply is stopped when a CO detecting output is still existing even after a lapse of a fixed period after that driving. CONSTITUTION:When CO is generated due to incomplete combustion during combustion action of a gas stove a detected signal SI having an electric voltage value corresponding to a generated quantity of the CO is signaled from an incomplete combustion detecting sensor 11. The signal SI after being amplified 14 enters into a comparator circuit 18 for comparison with a constant voltage. Then, when the signal SI exceeds the above constant voltage a signal SV is applied from the comparator circuit 18 and electrified to a relay 26 for driving the exhaust fan. At the same time a timer circuit 22 is actuated, when the signal SV is kept signaled continuously even after its fixed time a signal SV' is signaled from the circuit 22, an electrification circuit of a solenoid 9 of a gas switching valve is opened through electrification to a relay 35, and a gas supply to a burner is stopped. |
