PURPOSE:To obtain a flexible receptor with high sensitivity by adding a hydrazone compound as a charge transferring substance to a photosensitive layer formed on an electrically conductive support. CONSTITUTION:To a photosensitive layer formed on an electrically conductive support is added a hydrazone compound represented by the formula (where R1 is lower alkyl; R2 is lower alkyl, phenyl, lower alkyl substituted phenyl, lower alkoxy substituted phenyl or benzyl; and R3 is H, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy) as a charge transferring substance. The hydrazone compound acts effectively as the photoconductive substance of the resulting electrophotographic receptor, and it is superior charge transferring substance. This receptor has high sensitivity and other superior advantages such as high flexibility. |
