PURPOSE:To enable to calculate amount of tax for a plurality of different kinds of operations, by making the operation of calculation of tax amoung having kinds according to the discriminating codes based on a readout tax rate and total amount of money. CONSTITUTION:A series of data consisting of charge discrimination code, tax rate and amount of transaction preset according to a plurality of tax calculation keys T/S1 and T/S2 are stored in tax memories T1 and T2 in a memory 5. The tax is accumulated to the total amount of transaction corresponding to tax data inputted through the operation of the keys T/S1 and T/S2, a series of data are read out at a operation of keys by the transaction, and the accounting of the tax amount calculation and liquidation by kinds according to the discrimination code based on the tax rate and the total amount of money to be read out. Thus, even if goods the tax rate of which are calculated with a plurality of different types of operations are mixed, the registration can easily be made by one set of an electronic cash register. |
