PURPOSE:To simplify the design and the manufacture of a trasformer and to readily obtain a high voltage by connecting the suitable combinations of capacitors and rectifiers to the secondary coils of the transformer, thereby suppressing the increase in the insulating withstand voltage of the transformer. CONSTITUTION:An alternating current i made of a rectangular waveform is supplied to the primary coil n1 of a transformer T. A rectifier circuit is connected to the secondary coil n2 of the transformer T. This rectifier circuit has capacitors C1, C2, C3 and rectifiers D1, D2, D3. The middle tap m of the coils n2 of the transformer T is connected to the ground point g. When an alternating voltage E is generated at the secondary coil n2 of the transformer T, a voltage 4E is presented at the capacitor C3. |
