PURPOSE:To prevent a cleaner roller from being stuck to an image carrier such as a photoreceptor drum, by providing an outer circumference member made of porous elastic body and a hollow member supporting said outer circumference member externally and having a lot of holes to the circumference. CONSTITUTION:A cleaner roller 22 consists of an outer circumference member 30 made of a sponge being a porous elastic member which is in surface contact with the outer circumference of a photoreceptor drum 8 with a low pressure, a hollow member 31 comprising a metal or a synthetic resin supporting the member 30, and a pipe 32 made of a metal or synthetic resin with sufficiently small outer diameter than the inner diameter of the hollow member 31. A cleaning liquid is impregnated in a cleaning liquid impregnating member 33 and after being sufficiently saturated in the member, the liquid reaches an outer circumference member 30 of the hollow member 31, that is, the inside surface of the cleaner roller 22. Thus, the adhesion of the cleaner roller to the image carrier such as the photoreceptor drum can be prevented. |
