The cover is made up of two tile types. One (2), the lower tile, is gutter shaped and has a flat central part (4) that rests on and is fixed to the roof purlins. The second tile type, the top tile (3) has a similar shape to type (2) but is placed concave down to overlap the spacing left by the rows of underneath tiles thus forming a bridge (B). The edges of both types of tile have notches and projections so that adjacent tiles can be fixed to each other, the tiles being fixed parallel to each other in the direction of the roof pitch.
