The exercise apparatus is for dynamic or isometric exercises to strengthen the muscles. It has two extensible cables (1) that can be separated to allow the patient to be put in place. The cables are joined at the top (4) to a rigid cross bar (5) which supports the head or the upper limbs. At the bottom (7) they are joined to a bar (8) on which the patient can sit or put his feet. In the centre of the top bar there is a head support (6) and on each side of this there can be handles which the patient can grasp.
