The pincers have two crossing arms rotatably connected at an articulation. They have paired cutting edges partly for cutting the conductor, and partly for removal of the insulation, both functions being executed by a single cutting movement. The de-insulation of the conductor end then takes place by drawing the closed pincers outwards and past the cutting point. Both cutting pairs are located in front of and on the same side of the movement plane at the articulation within which the pincer arms are reciprocally pivotable, with the cutting pair for severing the conductor near the articulation axis line. The edges for stripping are located at an adjustable distance in front of the severing pair. (Provisional Basic advised week 84/27)(0/3) |
