The small arms mounting is adjustable in elevation and azimuth. The cradle (17) is on a horizontal axis on a support (19), which turns on a vertical pivot (24), as near to the user as possible. Two arms (20) of adjustable spacing straddle the user's neck and have, at their ends (21), pivots with axes pointing through the user's neck. On the arms are fitted the ends of two arms (22) around the sliding spring parts pivoted to the cradle and support. The support (19) is on a fixed circular roller track (11).
