ANTENNA FOR RADIO RECEIVER OF AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To obtain an antenna system with nondirectivity, to electromagnetic waves of different polarized wave components, by providing a front antenna for a front window glass plate and a rear antenna for a rear window glass and a switch means which selects stronger signal out of both outputs. CONSTITUTION:A rear antenna 60 obtaining an output from a power feeding point 34 to a rear window glass plate 31 and a front antenna 32 obtaining an output from a power feeding point 35 to a front window glass plate 33 are provided and outputs obtained from the antennas are amplified with a high frequency amplifying circuit 51 respectively, a stronger signal is selected with a switching circuit 52 and inputted to a radio receiver 50 for reception. The rear antenna 60 selects the pattern with nondirectivity and the front antenna 32 is an antenna with different directivity from it. Thus, even if electromagnetic waves having any polarized component are received, a diversity antenna system with excellent nondirectivity can be obtained.
