PURPOSE:To enable to make outgoing call and incoming call free of charge from both sides but to limit incoming call with charge to the response from a slave set as a rule, by adding a function which can communicate between a public telephone set being a master telephone set and a slave telephone set being a general telephone set. CONSTITUTION:A master telephone set TEL1 provided with a coin set CM is connected to a station device SE via a subscriber line L and a slave telephone set TEL2 is connected to the master telephone set through a cable. When the TEL2 hooks off for a call, a monitor section HSD detects it and a control section CT1 informs the call to the station device SE. The call of the TEL1 is given to the station device from the CT1. When a normal incoming call not requiring charge from the SE is present, the call can be responded from both the master and slave telephone sets, but as to the incoming call with charge, the master telephone set can only respond through the operation of the CT1 by means of a KS key operation. |
