A clamping shaft (6), formed as a hollow shaft, is rotatably mounted in a bore (2) disposed in a cylinder (1). In the cavity of the clamping shaft (6) two gripping shafts (11) are disposed at a distance from one another and are held at both ends in bearing members (12) such that they may rotate and are freely movable with respect to one another. Each bearing member (12) is slidably guided on a pin, which is mounted transverse to the clamping shaft (6), and is urged towards a passage or aperture in the clamping shaft (6) by means of a compression spring. The wall of the cavity of the clamping shaft (6) thus brings about the clamping of the ends of the rubber blanket (15) between the two gripping shafts (11). Rotation of the shaft after clamping of the ends tensions the blanket. <IMAGE> |
