PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability for the paving work of a road face at night. SOLUTION: Right and left side working lights 32 are mounted on a support base 12 for driver' seat in a front body 2 to light the side face of the body between the front rolling compaction roller 6 and the rear rolling compaction roller 7 by the working lights 32. In this way, a rise and fall step 18 can be lit by the working lights 32, an operator can safely go up to the driver's seat and go down therefrom while using the step 18 as a foothold during paving work at night. Further as the surrounding area of the front rolling compaction roller 6 and the rear rolling compaction roller 7 can be lit by the working lights 32, the operator can drive the road roller while securely watching a paved condition of a road compacted by the front and rear rolling compaction rollers 6, 7 and hence, the paving workability at night can be improved.
