PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new wiping roller where the employment of urethane- based paste enables a resin mixed with a filler to be used in producing the roller, the use of highly toxic organic solvent is avoided and abrasion resistance, deformability, elasticity, mechanical strength, etc., are excellent, and also to provide a method for producing the same roller. SOLUTION: This pasted resin is prepared by reacting a diisocyanate dimer and a diol or the like to synthesize a polyuretedione compound (S101), by grinding (S102) the polyuretedione compound into powder (S105), and by mixing (S106) the powder with a high molecular diol, a filler and the like, followed by kneading them (S107) with an ink mill to form the pasted resin (S108) itself. This wiping roller (S113a, b, c, d) is obtained by filmy recoating procedures (S111a, c) or molding procedures (S111b, d) each using the pasted resin or its blend pasted resin (S108') mixed with PVC paste.
