A device is provided for adjusting the backrest of a motor-vehicle seat. The device has a hand lever, provided with pawls, and a toothed driving gear which cooperates with the hand lever, is arranged on the swivelling spindle of the seat parts and via which the self-locking mechanism, located between the backrest and the seat part, is actuated. Using a device of this type, actuable by a hand lever, better accessibility when adjusting the seat and an improvement in comfort are achieved. |
