摘要 The function of the power plant utilizing environmental heat is to extract heat from groundwater, lakes, the sun, a heat fence or the air, to convert it into mechanical energy and thus to drive a compressor (heat pump). Refrigerants such as carbon dioxide and Frigen 22 are used here as energy carriers. The carbon dioxide is heated at 20 DEG C in the evaporator (6) by supplying a heat carrier (10), and in the process the pressure rises to 60 bars. The gaseous carbon dioxide flows through a turbine or reciprocating engine (1) and condenses in the condenser (7) at 0 DEG C = 36 bars. The energy released by the pressure drop is transmitted via the mechanism (2) to the compressor (3). The carbon dioxide arriving in the condenser is pressurised in the evaporator (6) by the feed pump (5). The compressor (3) with the condenser (8), which belongs to the circuit, and preheater (9) and controller (4) operate as a heat pump and are filled with Frigen 22. The controller is, however, fitted to the condenser (7). The evaporated Frigen 22 extracts the heat from the carbon dioxide in the condenser (7) down to 0 DEG C and maintains the required temperature in the preheater (9). The condenser (8) serves as a heat exchanger; heat released is passed to the consumer. <IMAGE>
