摘要 A battery maintenance device having a microprocessor which supplies control signals to a charging circuit and a discharging circuit. The charging circuit is connected to a battery in order to supply charging signals thereto. The discharging circuit is likewise connected to the battery in order to absorb and consume the power. Selector controls are connected to the microprocessor in order to select a maintenance program for the battery. Battery parameters, such as the battery temperature and battery voltage, are supplied to the microprocessor via a measurement circuit. The microprocessor supplies control signals to the charging device and the discharging device, to be precise as a function of the desired program which preferably includes a first charge of the battery to be maintained, then a discharge of the battery to be maintained followed by recharging of the battery. The microprocessor also supplies signals to display devices which selectively display the status of the selected charging program and various battery characteristics and parameters, together with the selected faults and defects.
