PURPOSE:To form a photoreceptor by which two-color copies are obtained easily without using any filter during image exposure by laminating the specific 1st photoconductive layer and the 2nd photoconductive layer on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The pigment expressed by the formula (1), (2) or (3) [ X is an arom. ring, a heterocyclic ring, Ar1 is an arom. ring, a heterocyclic ring; Ar2, Ar3 are arom. ring; R1, R3 are H, lower alkyl, phenyl; R2 is lower alkyl, carboxyl, etc.] is used as an electric charge generating material for the 2nd photoconductive layer. More specifically, the 1st photoconductive layer consisting of a vapor vapor deposition layer of an Se type photoconductive material (sensitive to colored light passed through the 2nd photoconductive layer), and the 2nd photoconductive layer consisting of an electric charge generating layer 31 contained with said pigment and an electric charge transfer agent (e.g.; fluorene) (sensitive to the part of colored light of a visibele light region and allowing the transmission of the other colored light) are laminated in this order on a conductive substrate, whereby the photoreceptor is produced. |
