PURPOSE:To make easier the connecting work of rods by providing an one-way clutch easy to make or break to a handle shaft with the interposition of a friction plate having a frictional force similar to or greater than a rotation force accompanying the falling of an elevating slider. CONSTITUTION:When a ratchet claw 18 is leaped up and a clutch 19 is broken, an elevating slider 3 becomes vertically movable and a rod 8 can be penetrated into the ground by turning a rotator 5. When the ratchet claw 18 is engaged with a gear 17 and the clutch 19 is made, the elevating slider 3 becomes movable upwardly but not downwardly. When the elevating slider 3 is raised by turning a rotary handle 9 and the rotary handle 9 is separated from hand, the slider 3 is stopped at the position. When the rod 8 is added, the elevating slider is raised by as much distance as the length of the rod, but not to the top dead center. Thus, the power required for the raising of the elevating slider can be reduced. |
