A hydrostatic motor with a shaft (102) which can be driven by way of working pistons is provided in accordance with Fig. 1. The flow of pressure medium between tank line (114), pressure medium line (115) and possibly further lines (116) provided is controlled by a disc-shaped valve plate (140, 142). With the housing (102) for the working cylinders (106, 107) fixed to the mounting, the said plate is set merely in gyrating movement by way of an eccentric (160, 161) driven by the engine shaft (101), as a result of which the connection between the working cylinders and the ports is controlled on each rotation. <IMAGE>
