The invention relates to a metering closure cap which can be screwed or welded onto plastic bottles. The plastic bottle is mounted so that the metering closure cap points downwards. By means of the pressure of the thumb and index finger on the nozzle casing (P), the ram (B) is raised and exposes the aperture at the lower part of the nozzle (A) through which the liquid can emerge. When the pressure of the thumb and index finger is removed at (B), the cone of the ram (B) is lowered and closes the outlet aperture again. The desired quantity of liquid can be metered by the duration of pressure on (P). <IMAGE>
