SEPARATION OF COAL POLLUTED LIQUIDS WITH HYDROCYCLONES

In a method of separation of polluted liquids, particularly in coal sludge circulation systems, liquid containing small suspended grains of coal and barren rock is passed to rotodynamic multihydrocyclones (1) where small coal grains are separated from small barren rock grains; the liquid (8) outflowing from the multihydrocyclones containing coal grains is directed onto a dewatering screen (2) where the next stage of dewatering takes place, whereas the overflowing liquid containing barren rock grains is directed to a sedimentation tank (3); the liquid overflowing from the sedimentation tank being technologically pure is introduced again into the closed coal concentration process cycle, the whole process being effected in a closed cycle of liquid medium.
