PURPOSE:To detect the direction of movement of a body and deliver the same as a sound output by determining the direction of movement by a plurality of stages of movement detecting means and thereby controlling sound generating means. CONSTITUTION:Detecting means 8 and 9 in plural stagesm e.g. in two sets, which have units 10 and 11 for transmitting light or the like and units 12 and 13 for receiving the same, etc. respectively are provided to detect the interception of the light by a moving body 4. Based on the detection, a signal processing means 14 generates an indication signal b1 or b2 in accordance with the directions P and Q of the movement of the body. According to these signals b1 and b2, a sound generating means 15 is driven and controlled to generate a sound corresponding to the direction of movement of the body, and thus the direction of movement of the body is detected, while it can be delivered as a sound output |
