A prosthesis for partial or total reconstruction of the posterior auditory canal wall is described. It has a non-closed hollow cylindrical cuff shape with at least in its two base regions different widenings in the manner of a hyperboloid with, preferably, elliptical cross-section. Bioactive material is used as material. The inner wall of the prosthesis has a positive or negative (spatial) coordinate grid.
