A transportable turning device with a basic body, a rotor rotatable relative to the basic body about a central axis by a drive motor attached to the basic body, a first feed device, acting on the one hand on the basic body and on the other hand on the rotor, for the axial adjustment of the basic body and rotor relative to one another, a second feed device, acting on the one hand on the rotor and on the other hand on a tool carrier adjustable in a radial direction on the rotor, for the radial setting of the tool carrier, a fastening bore, passing through the basic body and coaxial to the central axis, for accommodating a mounting mandrel, fastening means for the releasable connection between basic body and mounting mandrel, an opening passing through the rotor coaxially to the central axis, and a strap which overlaps the basic body and rotor and is provided with a supporting pin which can be inserted instead of the mounting arbor into the fastening bore and can be fastened in the latter.
