摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate the disturbance and unevenness of the edge of a black matrix which is a light-absorbing film, by cutting reflected ultraviolet rays by means of a filter which is installed on a photoresist film before this reflected ultraviolet rays are transmitted through a panel so that said ultraviolet rays reflected on the external surface of the panel can prevent hardening of an undesirable part of the photoresist film. CONSTITUTION:Ultraviolet rays radiated from a light source 4 make a photoresist film on a face-plate harden and pass through the inside of a panel 1, but on the external surface of the panel 1 a part of said ultraviolet rays is reflected and passes again through the inside of the panel 1, reaches the back side of the photoresist film 5, and arrives at said undesirable part. A suitable filter for absorbing the light reflected on the external surface of the panel is, for instance, 0.1% aqueous solution of fluorescein sodium (C20H10O5Na2). The photoresist 5 containing 0.1% fluorescein sodium in a water- soluble photosensitive resin is spread on the internal surface of the face-plate of the washed panel 1. Thereafter, when said photoresist is exposed to light through a pattern such as a shadow mask or the like and developed by a warm water spray, a dotted or striped temporary pattern is formed.
