PURPOSE:To raise the connecting strength of elements for an underground continuous wall by a method in which a shear reinforcing iron bar fitted with star- lapping iron bars is attached to the lapping portion of a vertical steel material, the star-lapping iron bars are moved and laid cross the main iron bars of the adjacent element, and then concrete is placed. CONSTITUTION:The horizontal iron bars 6b of an iron bar cage on the backward side is set in such a way that it is lapped with a horizontal iron bars 6a projected in the inside of the box 9a of forward side element A. A shear reinforcing iron bars 10 are vertically inserted into the lapped portion for setting. Under a condition that shear reinforcing iron bars 10 and 10' are slightly lifted, steel materials 11 and 11' are moved so as to cause them to come near to each other by operation from the ground's surface, star-lapping iron bars 12 are projected to outside, and the shear reinforcing iron bars are lowered by their own weights and the hook at the tip of the star-lapping iron bars is coupled with the horizontal iron bars 6a. Afterwards, concrete 3b is placed into a trench 4 under the ground to combine the backward element B with the forward element A. |
