Percussive tool having a percussive web which is in permanent engagement with a spiral spring and having a pusher lever which can be brought into engagement with said percussive web. By means of an eccentrically mounted pivot pin of the pusher lever, the engagement depth of the latter with the percussive web and hence the stroke of the percussive web until its release is adjustable by means of the pusher lever, so as to match the final tension of the spiral spring and thus the impact force of the percussive web to the dimensions of the staples or cramps and/or the strength of the base.
