The invention relates to a profiled tape for releasable connections. The aim of the invention is to provide a flat connecting means for releasable connections, which means can easily be attached to many parts. The profiled tape provides a releasable connection which, in one direction, is defined in the plane and, in the other direction, can accommodate tolerances. The profiled tape can also be combined or correspondingly designed in such a way that the parts can be connected to one another in such a way that they can accommodate tolerances in one direction or in two directions in the plane. This profiled tape is simple and cost-effective to produce. According to the invention, the object is achieved in that a profiled tape has attachment possibilities, such as a self-adhesive coating on the non-profiled side, or a layer of adhesive applied retrospectively to the non-profiled side, or holes for screws or rivets, and has at least one profiled side with at least one elevation whose cross-section remains essentially the same over its entire length and has a recess at the base, at least on one side. <IMAGE>
